I'm a college student working on a major in both Applied Mathematics and Engineering Physics. While at Lakewood High School, I was part of the International Baccalaureate program and was enrolled in AP courses. I also taught performance skills and music to elementary through middle school students when I was a graduate assistant with the Colorado Children's Chorale. All of this was before I even entered college.I like working with any age on various subjects when it comes to tutoring. A teacher should be able to help a student work through understanding any topic or subject. A teacher should also be able to make a tutoring session apply beyond the session or specific assignment. Each tutoring student deserves a teacher who is the best for him or her. My goal is to be that perfect match. While my background is in math and science, my tutoring subjects also include ACT, PSAT, and SAT test subjects, AP courses, ASPIRE courses, and overall test preparation. I always find time to enjoy fencing, rowing, and working with friends on projects involving our understanding of engineering. We recently worked on making a self-balancing skateboard. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with my friends in making it safe to actually use!
